And, no, I’m not the type of Virtual Assistant that is actually a chatbot when you shop online. Let’s dive into how I can actually help you get the time back in business you deserve.

a brief history of time
I’m a freelance personal assistant, social media specialist and copywriter. Imagine a boss or CEO having an assistant in the office to help them with admin, posting on socials, writing emails and basically being the boss’s supporting character. That’s what I do, just instead of the corporate 9-5 office routine, I work for myself, and for 10+ businesses at once. I’m all of the essentials you need in business, wrapped up in a [virtual] Ellie-sized bundle of organisation and witty captions.

Out of the office I am…
- A wife, step mum of three, and fur mum of three.
- A lover of just two hobbies, but they make me so happy (reading books and dancing - not the trending TikTok kind, the ballet kind).
- Watching my comfort shows on repeat because I’m THAT person that rotates between Friends, The Big Bang Theory and Brooklyn 99 endlessly.
- Stereotypical Libra being indecisive in most areas of my life which is annoying for all.
- Either singing along to Sabrina Carpenter or Eminem, there’s not really an in between.
- So organised that managing 14+ clients on the daily feels like a breeze.
- Strictly using Google Calendar and Notion to schedule every waking hour.
- Always flipping between my creative brain and my strategic admin brain.
- Looking for any reason to cuddle/annoy my cats when I’m working and they’re sleeping.
- Not getting distracted by the book I’m currently reading that’s calling out to me in the other room to be read 24/7.

The next chapter in my story
Over the years, I’ve worked in marketing, advertising, journalism, admin and executive assistant roles, management, and now - business owner. Every job I’ve ever had, that felt so random at the time, ended up coming together to give me the ultimate fairytale ending. I acquired all of the skills I needed to be an in-demand Virtual Assistant with my own business. Talk about a plot twist for the ages.
But the most important thing to know about me? Is how much I know that helping fellow women in business is what completely and utterly lights me up every single day. Having your own business is no small feat, but doing it alone? You deserve to have the time to spend on what you love inside your biz, and out of it. Outsourcing is truly the best thing you could do as a solopreneur, and especially when you find The One - that Virtual Assistant you would trust with your life, even having never met them in person. That’s the standard of connections I set with every person who chooses to work with Virtual House.
